Creating the unique art for The Channeler involved lots of research and studying of styles from its conception. The current art team, consisting of three 3D artists and one tech artist, worked together to agree upon a stylized look of Sam Nielson, an artist widely known for his character work for Disney Infinity series. We really liked his exaggerated shapes, sculpted aesthetic, and unique approach to creating your own AO map and using painting techniques to get a look that is unique to the world and our imaginations.
